Hope Tz Schmalzl is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and has lived in the area all of her life. She is passionate about Greenville and it shows in all she does.

As a commercial broker with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services C. Dan Joyner Commercial Division, Hope focuses her efforts in the growth of retail properties. Her lifelong knowledge of the area and prior experience as a retail business owner/manager provides a unique perspective to every project.

She began her real estate career in residential real estate and prior to that she spent years managing her family's business, Tz's Fine Wines & Spirits, and worked as a wine distributor before coming back to real estate. Hope brings her retail and marketing experience into commercial side of real estate specializing in leasing and sales of retail space, office space, land and industrial property.

Hope is very active in the community on a personal and professional level. She is a memeber of the Greater Greenville Realtors Association, National Realtors Association, Multiple Listing Service and CREW Commercial Real Estate Women. She is a charter member of CREW and former Chair of Special Events.

Other community involvement includes past chair of the Taste of the Upstate (for almost 20 years), being an active member in The Philoptohos Society and the Daughters of Penelope. Hope is a member of St. George Orthodox Cathedral where she has served as Sunday School Director, and served on the board of the Parish Council. She is also active in the Annual Greek Festival sponsored by the church.

Her commitment to clients is matched by her love for all things Greenville. After all, making clients' dreams come true is helping Greenville grow, one transaction at a time!
